The Almonry dates from before the 1600s. This was once part of the Abbey and was used to despence Alms to the poor and needy. It fell into disrepair and was restored in 1973.

Originally the building was probably two dwellings. It was converted into one in the late 16th century to early 17th century. The timber frame makes this an attractive property today.
