Grassy Ridge is a bald summit (6080' measured) in the Roan Highlands. Access is via a spur trail off the AT.
Park at Carvers Gap. This trail marker is 2.5 miles northbound up and over several balds. Grassy Ridge is another 0.5 miles up the side trail.
This location is also a very popular spot to camp for the terrific views into both TN and NC along the ridge line.
