De toren in het midden van dit gebouw (nr. 8) was de watertoren van bierbrouwerij Maes Stramproy. Hij is zo'n 14 meter hoog.
De fabriek is in bedrijf geweest tot 1975. Daarna is hij vervallen tot een ruïne. In 2004 is de toren hersteld en onderdeel geworden van het wooncomplex.
The tower in the middle of this building (no. 8) was the water tower of brewery Maes Stramproy. It is about 14 meters high.
The factory has been in operation until 1975. Later it fell into a ruin. In 2004 the tower was restored and became part of the residential complex.
