Stavba z roku 1935 nebyla vybudovana pouze jako studanka, ale mela slouzit predevsim jako napajedlo pro lesní ptactvo a zver. Za stejnym ucelem byla upravena i tun pred studankou a palouk byl osazen cizokrajnými drevinami a remizy pro hnizdeni ptactva.
