This building is bigger than the usual tinner’s huts, it could have been used for accommodation for the miners, as this location is rather remote and would have been a long walk from the nearest village.
Wheal Prosper is a small ancient tin mine located on the open moorland of Dartmoor. It was worked between 1830 and 1850.
