A lookout that is in the Middle of the Southern Range at San Tan Park. Located on a little rise just off the Hedgehog Trail.

You can find the overlook and a few more in the ~San Tan~ Regional Park.

Be sure and pick up a park ~map~ at the main visitor center. And remember this is a typical dessert hike. So bring water, and when its hot in the summer, early in the morning or at sunset is the best and safest time to hike this park.

Rock Peak to the SE, the Malapai Escarpment is directly to the S. In the southern distance one can see Pichaco Peak, Florence. If you look to the North one can see the San Tan Valley, Superstiotion Mountains and way in the distance the Four Peaks.
