Church was built on land donated by a local merchant, Rev. Robert W. Rayne, in memory of his son who was killed in the American Civil War Battle of Chancellorsville. Beautiful church and the entire area is very quiet, clean and nice. More great history on the church and parish are located at the Churches website, located here.
