St Veran is probably the sundial capital of the world with over 36 sundials. Many are historical, like the sundials of Zarbula. Some are quite recent like the sundials by Remi Potey.
In 2008 Rémi Potey painted a sundial featuring an eagle in the mountains. This east declining sundial is on a private residence on the upper main street of St Veran. Like many of Potey's sundials, here the painting is more important than the sundial. This east declining dial has only morning hours marked from 8 to noon.
Motto: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur” (One sees clearly only with the heart)
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
