The Pillbox is one of the few remaining World War II sites here near Barton on Sea. The anti-tank concrete defences used to be positioned on the cliff edge but erosion has caused them to fall into the sea. These were commonly known as 'Dragon's Teeth'.

There is a big view from the Pillbox in its ideal position. This view can be appreciated if you follow the footpath to the cliff edge and walk up the cliff path. Views stretch across the sea to the Isle of Wight.
