DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1927 (EOH) TRAVERSE STATION AND BENCH MARK IS LOCATED AT INTERSECTION OF DECATUR STREET, MARIETTA STREET, EDGEWOOD AVENUE AND PEACHTREE STREET, IN THE STREET. IT IS 6.53 FEET E FROM TABLET ON N SIDE OF POLICE SIGNAL STAND IN THE INTERSECTION OF STREETS. 57.81 FEET SE FROM CENTER OF CATCH BASIN COVER IN NW CORNER OF MARIETTA AND PEACHTREE STREETS. 15.19 FEET SE FROM CENTER OF G.R. AND P. COMPANY MANHOLE COVER. 44.31 FEET NW FROM FIRE PLUG ON E SIDE OF PEACHTREE STREET, BETWEEN DECATUR STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE. 14.31 FEET N FROM CENTER OF MANHOLE COVER IN CENTER OF PEACHTREE STREET. STATION MARK IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN CONCRETE CYLINDER, 5 FEET LONG, 10 INCHES IN DIAMETER AT THE TOP AND 18 INCHES AT THE BASE. CAST-IRON COVER OVER TOP OF MARK.
