This is the fire station that my father is a volunteer for at this time. It is also the station that covers my house, so if we have a fire, my father might be one of the firefighters to cover it! Every time my dad gets an emergancy call and drives by my house in the truck, he'll honk.
My father has been a Volunteer Firefighter in Wenatchee for 25 years. He is also an EMT and a First Responder. This year he was awarded the Firefighter of the Year for Chelan County. I am very proud of him. His geocaching name is Fullcoverage.
I drive by this firestation every time I leave my house and go into town.
My dad planted some cactus at the foot of the station's sign the is in the lawn. In the spring they have pretty yellow flowers. Get up close to see them, as they hug the ground.
