This bronze bust of the former President is part of a memorial that commemorates Kennedy and his first campaign stop during his successful run for the presidency in 1960. Located in a small brick plaza directly in front of Nashua City Hall, this famous bust, mounted on top of a granite base, is a popular campaign stop for candidates during every presidential election year.
At one time the bust was stolen by vandals, but was later recovered and restored to the top of the memorial.
