In Lowell's Edson Cemetery, a unique memorial honors veterans of America's Civil War and the Spanish-American war. The memorial includes two identical Civil War era cannons located on either side of a large granite monument. Graves of veterans of the two wars are located nearby.
The main entrance to the Edson cemetery is located just to the south of the listed coordinates on Gorham Street.
