The North Country Trail follows Baker Trail through the Cook Forest area.
Heading North from this trailhead will lead the hiker through the Northern part of Cook Forest State Park. The next trailhead north is North North End of Forest Road Trailhead.
Heading South from this trailhead a hiker will hike some of the nicest areas of Cook Forest State Park. The trail makes stops at the Cook Forest fire tower and Seneca Point observation area. The next trailhead south is the Gravel Lick Trailhead.
