A wonderful seaside hot spring located on the south tip of Green Island. Green Island is a a little over an hour by ferry from the town of Taitung.

Its open 24hours a day during the summer months but only open during the day in the winter time.

Summer visits are great for watching the sunrise.

Antime of the year is good for eating fresh hot spring boiled eggs and ocean cooled beer. Grab your eggs from the vendor and head over to the hot spring source. Watch out! The water comes out of the ground at boiling! This little volcanic island still has some fire!)

The hot spring source itself is a little bit up the beach from the main complex wich consists of changing rooms, a sun deck, freshwater showers, a covered pool facility (fed from the hot spring source of course)with various water jets for massaging sore muscles, a newly renovated terraced pool area where each terrace level has a different water temperature and finally, the rustic seaside pools. Rusitc is the word but its cool to soak in the hot water then hop over the little wall directly into the ocean. I even saw some colorful tropical fish in the hot spring

Winter vists are nice because you'll be the only one there.

To get there, ride your scooter or take a bike from your hotel.
