Welcome to the Sweetwater Valley Farm. The following is taken from their website;

"Our farm, located between the towns of Philadelphia and Loudon, is in the heart of southeast Tennessee’s dairy-rich Sweetwater Valley. It is known for its agricultural vitality and progress. We’re proud to be a part of this rich farming region.

Sweetwater Valley Farm is one of the few farms in the country producing fine farmstead cheese. Meaning, we control the process from cow to consumer in order to create high quality cheddar cheese. Our cows are our livelihood and most of our daily efforts are spent meeting their needs. There is nothing artificial in our cheese, just high quality milk and an old fashioned approach to cheese making. We allow proper aging time to ensure a great flavor for all of our cheeses. We offer a vast selection of cheddars as well as specialty gourmet cheeses made with fresh ingredients.

While today’s Sweetwater Valley Farm cheese is produced in a state-of-the-art facility, owner John Harrison has preserved the fine art and craft of making cheese in the traditional farm stead manner.

Please plan to stop by our farm store and see where our fine cheeses are made. You may also want to go on one of our farm tours. On days that the weather permits, we will take you on a walking tour to see our dairy and tell you about the process from cows to cheese."

The cheese is to die for and the tour is really cool and educational. You must remember though that this is a working farm and has that wonderful "farm smell" so be prepared. There is also a really nice quilt square here.
