This bear sculpture is located in front of Big Rivers cafe, and at the entrance to Big Rivers/Oklahoma Trails exhibits. It is inside a small landscaped area surrounded by tables in the outdoor eating area. The bear is standing on his hind feet, upright. The real bears are located at the Big Rivers boardwalk nearby.
This is one of many pieces of art placed around the OKC Zoo for visitors to enjoy.
The OKC Zoo is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Admission cost is $8 adults; $5 children 3-11 and Seniors; free for children 2 and under. You are welcome to bring in your own food and drinks, but glass containers and straws are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited on the zoo grounds and in the zoo parking lot.
