"Milpitas has one library, a branch of the Santa Clara County Library system. It is the most used facility in the system with over 2 million check-outs per year. With the City Council's decision to restore and convert the Milpitas Grammar School building (c. 1915) into a regional library of more than twice the size of the former building, the many citizens who utilize the library will be better served."
