Stories about Disney's passion for carosels, how he took his daughters to ride on the one at Griffith Park and was inspired to create a theme park for families, his search for an antique carosel for Disneyland, and his personal involvement in the creation of King Arthur's carosel can be found on the internet and in Disneyland at the exhibits on Main Street. Cast members tell of how Walt was up riding Jingles - the lead horse - in the mornings before the park opened. During the 50th Anniversary celebration Jingles was painted gold. After the celebration Jingles was redecorated in honor of Julie Andrews, the ambassador of Disneyland. You can see a Hidden Mickey made of jewels on Jingles' saddle blanket.
