This helicopter is the centerpiece of Freetown Memorial Park.
Freetown Memorial Park was started in 2007 and plans to add memorials for those that have served in wars and other conflicts, as well as Police and Firefighter memorials. They are also planning to place a cannon at the park in honor of Freetown Civil War hero John Deane.
