An admission is charged part of the year.

The disk is embedded on a slab of concrete a couple feet in diameter. It is sitting just on Trail 3 just past the trailhead in Charlestown State Park.

The park is on land that until recently was part of the Indiana Army Ammunitions Plant. It's possible that this benchmark was set up by the military.
