This triangular shaped memorial is meant to look like a folded American flag. The picture that is etched into the sides shows helicopters and tanks in battle. The inscription reads:

DEDICATED
TO ALL THE MEN
AND WOMEN WHO FOUGHT
AND SERVED FOR THE FREEDOM OF
OUR COUNTRY IN THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
