I finished doing the typical tourist thing, snapping pictures of the Flatiron Building and turned around to this three-story tall sign painted on a building a little further up Broadway.
The upper portion of the sign is not readable, but the name in the blue disc is clearly "F.M.Ring Associates," which is a property management company specializing in the operation of non-residential buildings. My guess is that they run (or once ran) this building and had this sign painted to advertise space available within.
Coordinates are from my position taking the picture, the building is to the north. You can't see the sign from much closer.
Notice the slightly closer (much shorter) building with a couple of large areas which would be signs which have been painted over.
