Jomtien is a beach area just south of Pattaya, filled with hotels, restaurants, and endless acres of beach for tourists to bake upon, and lots of water sports to while away the hours. One of these hotels has a rather impressive shrine in its carpark.

This shrine is in the carpark of a hotel, so technically it is private, however, it is customary in Thailand for people living nearby to visit a shrine even if it is on private property, but in a public area. Also, sometimes a new building is built on an area which was once 'public', and contained a shrine, and then the shrine continues to enjoy a de-facto 'public' access.
