Myers Livery Stable, built by Lon and Louis Myers, was at one time located at 113 East Ninth. It was one of the first “taxi” services in Stillwater and provided service to trains at places like Orlando and Perry before the railroad came to town. Later, the wooden building was torn down, and Louis Jardot built the C.E. Hull and Sons Motor Co. building in 1926. Jardot ran the first brickyard in Stillwater and built many early structures.
