This gun is located in Evergreen Cemetery in Fonda, New York. To find it go west on Route 5 out of Fonda. You're looking for Martin Road. Two or 3 intersections past the village. Turn right onto the Martin Road and follow this all the way to the cemetery. The cemetery will be on your right just past the Hickory Hill - Martin Road intersection & directly across from the Stone Arabia Road.
Once again I find a cool gun but lack the extra information to make this a better waymark. Through all of the research I've done the closest I found was on the link below. All I do know is that it is a Robert Parker Parrott No. 52 and it weighs 3240lbs. Definitely a heavy hitter. The barrel is rifled for greater accuracy and it is stamped 1862 on the side of the trunnion.
It looks like someone really wanted the cannonballs and pried two of them off. It's a shame to see this kind of mindless destruction. Hopefully we can all look past this ignorance and take a quiet moment to truly honor the people that this memorial is dedicated to. May they rest in peace. Swizzle & Family
