The Rock Cafe opened in 1939 along Route 66. Built by Roy Rieves on land purchased for $100.00. Mamie Mayfield was one of several managers of the cafe. She ran it from 1959 until 1983. The Cafe is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. You can visit Mamie's General Store just right next door.
