The church is in a peaceful country area, there is a manor house and its beautiful early 17th century gatehouse close by, this church is an impressive building, it is mostly 12th century in origin, with an arcaded north aisle and tall west tower added in the 15th, and was restored in the 1860s.
Apart from the church and the Manor House there is a few other properties in the area.
Sadly the church is no longer in operation, but is being looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust, the church was open when I visited.
