[FR] Édifiée sur un plan en croix latine régulière, son architecture présente l'austérité des écoles byzantines et romaine. Son entrée est abritée d'un porche datant de 1624. À la croisée du transept, un clocher carré et trapu percé de deux étages de baies en plein cintre abrite un carillon manuel de 37 cloches.
À l'intérieur de l'église, se trouve un remarquable lutrin en bois sculpté du XVe siècle, une cage d'escalier en bois sculpté et ajouré du XVIe siècle ainsi que des orgues de 1761.
Classé Monument historique, l’église Saint Symphorien a été restaurée (les travaux ont finis en 2007) et on peut désormais y accéder aux horaires d'ouverture. En faisant le tour, on peut voir les croix posées sur le sol représentant toute une famille victime de la peste.
[EN] Saint Symphorien Church was built in 13 th century in the Romanesque style, in the wine growers's quarter. It amalgamates the Romanesque with the Gothic and contains an early carillon.
The entrance is protected by a porch dating from 1624. The square bell tower embellished by arch windows, shelters a 37-bells-manual-carillon. Inside we can admire a wonderful wood sculpted lectern dating of 15th century, a sculpted stair of the 16 th century and an organ of 1761.
