The Aparima Bridge Reserve this is a large grassy area with a longdrop (toilets). You can stay here for up to twenty-eight nights per year here. Suggest calling 0800 732 732 for details.

This location is rather pretty down by the river and it only one kilometer to the local tavern.

Other than a sign on the Gropers Bush - Thornbury Road there is no signage clearly indicating that you can camp here. Also, if you miss the first left off Anderson Road you can easily drive to the end before realising you missed the campground back at the bridge. Please refer to the website below for details.
