Watchman Cap Remains, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

The NGS Data Base only records the lookout building on the summit of The Watchman (PID NZ1039), but the remains of a benchmark cap can be found in the high point inclosed by the rock wall of the viewing area. The remaining portion of the cap is similar to early USGS benchmarks found at other locations in Crater Lake National Park. Access is via trail from the Wizard Island Viewpoint on Rim Drive.
