It has a grade of 37%, meaning that for every 100 ft of horizontal distance traveled, the elevation changes by 37 ft. The cobblestone street is only 1/10 of a mile long and is one way (up). It was difficult to walk up. Some people try to bike it. "Try" being the key word.
