This site has been available to for fishermen (or women) to launch their boats for several years. The ramp is concrete and is in good shape. The retaining wall to the west is in need of some repair but with budget shortfalls who knows when that will get fixed. The ramp is still serviceable at this time. The river lends itself to flat bottom jon-boats with motors up to 20 hp. The river is narrow and shallow in places and there is always the chance of having to get out and pull the boat over a sand bar. So, you would not want a monster motor on your boat. In addition to a great place to fish, there is a waymark near by for an orphaned bridge, WM6TRJ.
