Sitting on the front lawn of Post 49 Hamlet American Legion is a big gun. Much of the nomenclature plates are painted over but I could see that it was manufactured by the Oliver Corp. A manufacture date on one of the plates read 1956. Access is easy as it sitting just off the parking area. There is a geocache hidden on the property also. The cache name is National Treasure (GCMF08).
