Hastings Animal Hospital was established over 25 years ago. We serve residents of Sierra Madre, Hastings Ranch and East Pasadena, as well as others who travel long diatances for our unique and personal care.We are a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.It is our belief that thorough and gentle care is the best approach for veterinarians to take. Our small and friendly staff helps you feel at ease with us becauses we know you and your pet. We see patients by appointment but can usually accomodate emergencies.
We are proud to be your Integrative Veterinary Medicine Center. We provide progressive traditional diagnostics and treatment with the ancient art of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine consisting of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, allowing your pet to benefit from the best of both worlds.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required including ultasound, endoscopy, overnight critical care, and oncology. Dr. Bruce Barrett, a board qualified veterinary surgeon , is available to perform specialized surgery at Hastings Animal Hospital when needed. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy,including Chinese Herbal Formulas, an in-hospital surgery suite, full x-ray capabilities, a dentistry center,a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding for small dogs and cats.
