The building was built in 1930. At the height of The Depression, this little congregation of people who walked to church borrowed $50,000 to build a new stone church. The previous church had been made of wood.

At the 10AM service, “Sparkie, the church dog” sits in church until it's time for Sunday School and then she goes to Sunday School with the kids.
