St Jude is a catholic church in the center of the residential area of Wilmerding. The town is famous for its Westinghouse castle, also the headquarter for railroad coupling industrial empire that Westinghouse built. In the 1950's, when steel production was strong, the valley experienced an economic and demographic boom. Today, the township is somewhat depressed, and populated by mostly elderly families.
