The World Famous Ocean City Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. From 1900 to 1915, the first of Ocean City's Boardwalk was constructed. In the early days, the Boardwalk was taken up and stored during the winter. Today's Boardwalk is a permanent walkway now spanning nearly three miles.
The boardwalk is a well know attraction for the tri-state area, consisting of many shopping boutiques, amusement rides and amusement centers, food and drink, top rated watering holes, fine restaurants and beach related stores. Boardwalk trains available as well as biking and skating. Boardwalk located on the beachfront and hundreds of fine motels, hotels, rentals and condos line the boardwalk. Plenty for all ages! Some of the oldest amusement park rides in Maryland still in good and operating condition. Loads of fun for all! Grab your shades and bathing suits! One of the finest wooden boardwalks on the east coast. Well worth a weekend trip. Only 159 miles east of Washington DC.
