"The John A. Wilson Building, popularly known simply as the Wilson Building, is the building in downtown Washington, D.C. that houses the offices and chambers of the Council and the Mayor of the District of Columbia. The building is located at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, near the southeast corner of the Avenue's intersection with 14th Street, NW. It was constructed in 1904–1908 and originally named as the District Building." (
