The passport program station is located at the mouth of the cave. You have to go through the gift shop to get there. You can obtain a passport there or you can download the pdf file here (visit link)

Have your passport stamped at seven caves then mail it in to the address and receive an embroidered patch designating you as a MCA Cave Explorer.

Meramec Caverns is a 26 mile cavern system in the Ozarks of Missouri, USA. It was formed from large limestone deposits over millions of years. Pre-Columbian Native American artifacts have been found in the caverns. Legend has it that the Meramec Caverns was used as a hideout for Jesse James and his brother Frank.
