This is one of two war memorials in the village; this one being dedicated to both the First and Second World Wars. Standing proud on the grassy area it has the backdrop of the pretty thatched cottages behind.

The details read:
'Erected by the inhabitants of TYSOE, and COMPTON WYNYATES, as a memorial of their fellow parishioners, who fought and died in the GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 AND IN THE WORLD WAR 1939 - 1945.'
