The statue shows a girl holding a swan and there is a plaque which reads:
'SWAN GIRL
This statue of a swan and child by Freya Boyesen was provided by Buckingham town council with assistance from Buckingham and Gawcott charitable trust. Unveiled on 26th July 1997 by councillor Ruth Newell town mayor'.
