The Museum of American Heritage is located in a 1907 house built by Dr. Thomas Williams and his wife. The house gardens are kept as they might have been in the 1930's. There are three large redwood trees in the front yard. The garage contains displays of early hand tools, a vintage print shop and shop machine. The museum in the main house features some static display and some changing displays. Some of the static displays depict life in America in the early 20th century. On display is an example of a general store and an American home with early appliances. There is a separate learning center building, where talks can be given for an audience. One should check the web site to see what the changing display is.
