Description: NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1967 4.1 MI E FROM STRAWBERRY PLAINS. ABOUT 4.1 MILES EAST ALONG A BLACK TOPPED ROAD FROM THE POST OFFICE AT STRAWBERRY PLAINS, ON TOP OF A HIGH BANK, ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF AN OVERHEAD POWER LINE WHICH CROSSES OVER THE ROAD, 33 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 29 FEET EAST OF THE LINE OF POLES SUPPORTING THE POWER LINE, 18 FEET SOUTHWEST OF TELEPHONE POLE NO. 3665, 1/2 FOOT SOUTH OF A METAL WITNESS POST, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 1 INCH ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND.

Black topped road is old Andrew Johnson Highway, which runs parallel to new Highway 11E. In middle, not top, of steep bank in the powerline right-of-way. Poles have been moved so the survey mark is right next to one (which is protecting the concrete post).
