The cemetery gate faces Michigan Avenue. There is a small circle drive around the memorial, and room to park.
The monument is a granite marker and flagpole at the front of the cemetery.
It was put there by American Legion post 3323 on Veterans Day, November 11, 1980.
The text reads:
"Post 3323 Westland Michigan
Dedicated to the Men and Women buried in this cemetery who served their country in the armed forces.
Dedicated November 11, 1980"
