This walled garden is a sheltered spot to relax behind the Horticultural Library in Golden Gate Park. The fountain is a barely-audible trickle of water from a rough rock into low rectangular basin which sustains some living reeds.
Although there is nothing saying so, it's almost certain that the fountain stones are from the ruined Cistercian monastery, as are the stones of the garden wall.
