This river gauge offers a simple, visual reading of the depth of Vasona Creek. Just north of this point the creek enters Vasona Park, a Santa Clara County park. The gauge is visible from the Vasona Creek hike/bike trail on the opposite creek bank from the gauge. The car bridge above is a one lane bridge located at a bend on Roberts Road.
