1963 Description: THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 2 MILES NORTHWEST OF KINGSPORT. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF 11W AND THE 11W BY-PASS, GO NORTHEAST ON 11W BY-PASS FOR 1.6 MILES TO THE CHURCH AND THE STATION ON THE RIGHT. IT IS A WHITE FRAME BUILDING WITH GREEN SHUTTERS AND A LIGHT GRAY ROOF. IT HAS A SPIRE (COVERED WITH WHITE SHINGLES) WITH AN OVER-ALL HEIGHT OF ABOUT 90 FEET. THE POINT INTERSECTED WAS THE WEATHER VANE ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF THE SPIRE.
