The park is dedicated to Carl F. Husa Sr. (Charlie) also known as "The Baron of Buttonwood". He passed in 1994 and this park is a memorial to him. There is a picnic bench and some benches. The playground appears to have been made in two installments. The original playground sits in the rear; it has swings and some climbing apparatus. The newer addition sits close to the street and is the usual "prepackaged" climbing and sliding equipment.
