We are a small batch coffee roaster roasting specialty coffees from around the world. Specialty coffee is the premium 5% of coffee grown, which possesses distinctive flavors in the cup and is free of defects. Our job is to continually refine the roasting process for each type of coffee bean for optimum flavor & aromoa.
Our coffee is roasted fresh and we only roast as much as we can sell in a 1 week period. Generally, the freshest coffee is in its peak flavor and aroma from 1-2 days after roasting to 3 weeks. To insure its freshness, we immediately package the coffee in sealed one-way valve bags. This allows the off-gasing from the roast to exit while keeping the damaging air from coming into the bag. Flavor deterioration is slowest when coffee is kept air tight, away from moisture (no refrigerator or freezer) and in a cool, dark place.
Our offerings change from time to time due to availability. Types and quantities of coffee very from year to year due to climate: how wet or dry and how hot or cool the growing season develops.
